Why this blog exists

The last time I did creative writing was for my A-Levels. I scored a glorious 4 out of 15 points on my essay. Since then I’ve written thousands of lines of code, tech and decision documents, and PR descriptions. But I’ve never again written an essay. While writing those lines I know why: I feared it would be another 4/15.

So this will be my place to practice. My little corner of the internet to shout into the void. I’ll write about ideas I had and things I learned, about advice I would give or had hoped to receive. Maybe someone on the world wide web has already written about what I write. And maybe you enjoyed their text more than mine. And that is fine.

This blog isn’t a means to an end. It’s my journey to become a better writer.
